Any industry, operation or process or an extension and The medical institutions who discharge, stores, Handling, transport substances like Poisonous gases, waste water, Noise or any other waste which harms/Pollute environment, they have need to take approval from Pollution control board under the provisions of Water (P & CP) Act, 1974 and Air (P & CP) Act, 1981.
There are two types of consent required by them:
- Consent to Establish
- Consent to Operate
- Renewal of consent

- Battery Return
- Biomedical waste Annual return
